Mammography

Rocky Vista University and Rocky Vista Health Center will have The  University of Colorado Hospital “Pink Life Saver” mobile mammography coach to be on our campus the fourth Thursday of each month.

The mission of the Pink Life Saver is to provide convenient and easy access for women to have their annual mammogram.  The American Cancer Society has identified lack of convenience and time as the number one reason women do not get this live saving annual exam……well, “NO MORE EXCUSES.”

The van will be right here in our parking lot to provide the latest 3D digital mammography technology to our faculty and staff as well as Health Center and community patients.  The Pink Life Saver coach is the only mobile coach in Colorado offering this technology providing a 40% increase in breast cancer detection, as well as a 30% decrease in additional imaging call backs!

Our Services Provide:

·         Hologic Dimensions 3-D Tomosynthesis mammography equipment – fully ACR and MQSA accredited.

·         ARRT registered Mammography Technologist

·         Computer-aided detection (CAD) – provides a “second look” of images

All patients must have a PCP or OB/GYN to refer the results to receive a mammogram.
