Walker Pride M.D.

I grew up in Englewood, Colorado, before spending several years in Texas where I received my undergraduate, post-baccalaureate, and medical education. After high school in Denver, I attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas where I completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. After college, I moved to Houston where I worked as a mechanical engineer in oil and gas for two and a half years before deciding to pursue a career in medicine. I completed my pre-medical studies at the University of Houston-Downtown, and I later graduated from medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. During medical school, I was attracted to the variety of patients covered by internal medicine, as well as the opportunity to practice in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am incredibly excited and grateful to return home to Colorado for residency, and I look forward to developing meaningful and lasting relationships with my patients. In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors, spending time with my family, and I am a diehard Colorado Avalanche fan!
